When
we started our club we said we would embrace all elements of the folk
traditions. We have had plenty of wonderful songs and music and a bit of
dancing (though not enough) and here we start our journey into
Storytelling.
Ruthie is a well-known and highly regarded storyteller. She will bring you The Piper's Tale and whisk you off to the Isle of Skye and a long journey to Canada. The story contains some songs you might know and we will finally get to hear her play the amazing hurdy gurdy!
We have support from David Hirst a local singer songwriter. You can see a video of him here
